No. 7 Blue Distance
Quiet afternoon is falling,
It is extinguished like a withered flower.
Beyond, I see the blue distance,
since my saline balcony, I see the sea.
Waves dance with the wind
they come and move back harmoniously,
blue distance performs a pavanne
which these waves are dancing.
In the high, the albatross impetuously flies,
It comes from West side, it seems bring a message.
Oh you amazing bird with long wings, you serene animal,
all it all, will be a message from the other side of blue distance?
Far away of indigo mantle, you are.
You are completely engaged, and this dulls our love,
however I want you know already for love I cry.
First time I saw you, I dreamed immersed in a reached idyll.
Like the dying and tropical afternoon, my body feels itself.
My hopes are drawn by the delicate colors of sky,
my friend albatross turns to golden Western.
It might let my lady know about my sad song.
Sea gets darker, night is coming.
My love dream perhaps is fading,
but tomorrow will be another day in blue distance,
and our love will rise as the dawn.
Poem based on Pavanne Op. 50 by Gabriel U. Fauré. Dedicated to lady impossible for me loving her, now if she changes her mind someday, I will open my heart to her. View of a sunset in a tropical beach with impressionist music. The title was inspired in a sentence from a verse by Antonio Machado.
