ROMANTIC REVOLUTION (English version of Revolucion Romantica)

This is a Collection of poems, an anthology in other words where I want to set my poetic ego free, through real or imaginary experiences. Term “romantic” not only means being lover, but it means being passionate, rebel, liberal and creative.

No. 2: Whiskey, Damsel and Foxtrot.

Fantastic night over the bar,
I can see a dark sky full of million stars
and seated, drinking a cup of whiskey,
listening comfortably jazz notes.

Two expert and young dancers are behind me,
Enjoying wildly the frenetic foxtrot.
In front of my bottle, there is a rose
with a strange red color as a strange riddle would be hidden in it.

Night is warm and there is a traffic jam in street.
A fatal woman is in the other side of my table.
A damsel black and long haired and cute looking
but melancholic looking in my opinion.

Drums rise my emotions, and my heart.
Alto saxophone melody is like pure and lethargic drug
while I drink a copious taste of my Johnny Walker.
My sight points to her now.

I'm imagining dancing with her the jazz.
Her purple clothes and her veil give her a mysterious aspect.
Elegant looks her with black heels, looking taller than she does,
and suddenly, she turns her face to me slowly.

We don't take any action, gosh !!!
Damn !!!! we are listening good music but we don't do nothing.
Night is darker and darker, she laughs of me and I blush.
Look her is like evoke a low and forbidden temptation.

I decided to be with her, and invite her
to dance this dopping foxtrot now.
I don't know where did I get forces to dance with her,
but we did it and we felt the passion of the night.

Inspired in Foxtrot from Jazz Suite by Dmitri Shostakovich (1906-1976). The title was inspired in the Johan Strauss II waltz Wine, Woman and Song.
Dedicated to my dear facebook friends, it's difficult mention them all. They know.
