ROMANTIC REVOLUTION (English version of Revolucion Romantica)

God save the omnipotent king Fernando,
after God, he is our Commander in Chief of Madre Patria,
brave and gallant tribune, the glorious winner against Napoleon,
and opponent of ignoble Pepe Botellas.

King Fernando VII de Borbón.
I’ve returned to my triumvirate, my loyal subedits,
after bring down the drunken king who governs you.
pay attention my words:
Time of the victory, our victory, has come.

Our dear Madre Patria, has been honored
because it has given all the power to govern the colonies in America,
It gave you richness, territories and deeds,
Spain is a heroic and valiant republic.

Your privileges are yours from the New World,
A magnificent land with abundant and natural towns,
alas, colonies want to emancipate of us,
we don’t tolerate the insumision of creoles.

Thankless sudacas remember this,
we have educated and we brought civilization
and we converted in sake Christians.
I wonder why you are so ungrateful with us.

Federal Choir.
We have dignity, we are not ungrateful,
our mission is to avoid be commanded by you!
we don’t want drunken guys or stupid guys are our leaders,
we need stupid or drunken guys from here.

Central Choir.
We are agree with federalists
although we have differences with them.
We will give fight until last man against tyrants,
So let’s save our nation of Spain.

Federal and Central Choir.
Our intern fights will be solved another occasion.
It’s time to be a great nation and no tilt our heads,
Viva la República,
Abajo la Monarquía,
Arriba la Independencia,
Muerte al Imperialismo.

(Taken from Sueños de Indpendencia, a work divided in 3 poems, which I wrote last year, and I wanted to make part of Romantic Revolution. Evocation of Independence Facts in my country before the period named La Patria Boba, the fool nation.
Inspired in the book La Patria Boba by Javier Ocampo López and first movement from Symphony No. 3 in D minor by Gustav Mahler due the tragic and ironic character at the same time
